Best iPad Photo Editing Apps 2012

I have listed a few iPad photo editing apps in order of preference below. Sorry the reviews are not in depth but hopefully if you need to be pointed in the right direction they will still be of some use:

coming soon… Reviews of Pixlr Express and Be Funky

Filterstorm Pro: This is quite similar to Lightroom and Aperture, so is best seen as going hand in hand with some of the other photo editing programs. The editing functions are very fast, although the interface is not immediately intuitive but for serious users and professionals probably a must have. 9.5/10

£10.49

Adobe Photoshop Touch: A must have… tutorials and features give it top marks 9.5/10

£6.99

I-photo: Simply a must have, helps with organising and editing photos, possibly not as good as Fiterstorm Pro, but I’d still recommend having it. 9/10

£2.99

PhotoForge2 – Lots of features but lag between making an adjustment makes it less intuitive than I’d like. For photographers though it’s probably one of the must haves. 8/10

£1.99

Photogene for iPad: Loads of pre-set FX.. lots of great features…  think it’s probably a must have 8/10

£1.99

PhotoPad by ZAGG it’s free so worth getting.. As a free App it’ll do most of the basic things that most people may need. However it changes the image sizes which for me is a real no no… So sadly only 6/10

FREE!!!

TouchRetouch HD – simply for cleaning up an image and not needed if you have the other high end programs 5/10

£0.69

ColorBlast! Lite Just for keeping areas of a photo coloured whilst the remainder is black and white, and not needed if you have the other high end programs 6/10

FREE!!!
